Choose The Right Limo For Your Needs

Posted on: 25 March 2020

Not all limousines are created equal. There are different types of limos available that are designed to meet different needs. The following guide can help ensure that you pick the right type of limo for your specific needs.

Business Travel

When it comes to business travel, a limo provides an option for picking up clients and colleagues at airports or transporting small groups between locations. Not only does a limo provide comfort, it also allows meetings and work to continue even when on the road. A town car or executive class vehicle is the best option for smaller groups of three to four people. These cars typically provide onboard Wi-Fi, plenty of leg room, and room for luggage.

Small Groups

For small groups of up to six passengers, consider a standard "stretch" limousine or one of the smaller SUV limos. If the main goal is transport, such as for a small event or funeral, then look for amenities such as privacy glass and legroom. For celebrations and parties, such as a wedding or prom night group, choose a limo that has features like mood lighting, beverage service, and integrated entertainment systems.

Larger Groups

Larger groups can benefit from an executive van, which is basically a luxury class transport van. Depending on groups needs, these vans may feature onboard Wi-Fi, beverage service, and even drop down entertainment screens. More basic models provide plenty of comfort but fewer amenities as they are typically designed to fit more people or a greater amount of luggage.

Group Events

A large group event can be taken almost completely on the road if you opt for a "party bus" limo service. A party bus may be an actual charter bus or it may be a fully appointed stretch SUV. Some are relatively simple and feature a few amenities, such as a bar and music entertainment system. Others have a lot more features, such as onboard hot tubs or a karaoke system. The difference between luxury limos and party buses is mainly in the amount of people they hold. A party bus is also designed to keep the party on the road, as opposed to simply transporting people to an event.

Patient Transport

There are even luxury limos available for patient transport. These are typically used by those that must travel long distances for medical procedures but that are unable to fly. The limo is equipped with any equipment the person needs, such as oxygen tanks, as well as with amenities to make the journey more comfortable.
